Basic Operations
There are 2 basic operation modes: standard operation and simple operation.
1.In the main display screen, touch and hold the left of the display for 1 second or longer. The operation mode is switched.

In the simple operation, the operations of
touching or in the radio mode or CD mode main display screen are not required, and this unit can be used by performing simple operation.
Note, however, that the following operations are not available in the simple operation.
•Preset tuning, folder selection, disc selection,
and other operations that involve touching on the right of the display
•Display switching operations (cf. page 13)
•Title display switching operations (cf. page 14)
•Operations for displaying title entry screens. In screens (e.g. list display, adjust mode, etc.) other than the main display, there is no difference between the standard operation and the simple operation.
Descriptions given in this manual are mainly for the standard operation. For descriptions for operations in the simple operation, refer to the descriptions for the screen displays in the radio mode or the CD mode.
1.Touch the center of the display.
Each time you touch the display, it changes as follows:

Screen saver
When the screen saver function is set to “ON”, and you do not operate this unit for about 30 seconds, the screen saver will be displayed. For details, see page 36.
