Power is on, but there is no LCD display.

Notebook computer	Press any key to resume operation.

Notebook computer	Press a key on the keyboard or move your finger

High voltages exist inside the Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) enclosure (notebook computer’s screen display). To prevent electrical shock, do not open the LCD enclosure. If the LCD needs repair, return it to your Compaq service representative.
