■Microsoft Windows Me or Windows 98 with Extended Desktop enabled—PressFn+F3 to turn off an external display connected to the external monitor connector and to disable Extended Desktop.

■Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional—ToggleFn+F3 to switch the image among

❏External display

❏Simultaneous display (computer and external displays)

The external monitor can be connected through the external monitor connector.

Initiating Standby (Fn+F4)

Press Fn+F4 keys to manually put the computer in Standby. The computer will automatically go into Hibernation after one hour of Standby. To wake the computer, press the power button.

Adjust Screen Brightness (Fn+F7 and Fn+F8)

Press Fn+F7 to decrease the display screen brightness. To increase the screen brightness, press Fn+F8.
