Macintosh

We love Macintosh and many of us at VholdR are lifetime Mac users, but we’re still working on VholdR Desktop for Mac so please be patient with us while we work on developing Mac software. To check our status on a Mac version please visit: http://www.vholdr.com/mac.

In the meantime, the following directions are written just for you.

1Connect VholdR - When you connect VholdR, a new drive should appear on your desktop. It should appear as ‘untitled’ if you did not previously format your card with a name. Double click on the icon to open up the file menu of your VholdR. Drag the video clips to your desktop or new folder.

2Xvid Codec - In order to play your VholdR videos you will need an Xvid compatible player (QuickTime does not play native Xvid files) or to convert the VholdR videos to a QuickTime compatible file type.

Player – VLC Media Player http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ Convert Files – FFmpegX http://homepage.mac.com/major4/

3To play a video with the VLC player, right click on video file and select the VLC player.

Sharing to VholdR.com - We would love to see your videos on VholdR.com so go to www.vholdr.com, create an account, and then upload your videos one at a time.
