Setting the Temperature

I M P O R TA N T !

In the event of a power fail- ure, wait 3 to 5 minutes before restarting.

To switch the display between the Fahrenheit (°F) and Celsius (°C) scale, depress the ‘Set Upper’ and ‘Set Lower’ control buttons simultaneously for approximately five (5) seconds.

The temperature range can be set as low as 39°F (4°C) or as high as 64°F (18°C) to suit your specific wine storage require- ments. Each depression of the ‘Set Upper’ or ‘Set Lower’ button will allow you to adjust the tem- perature in 1° increments within the aforementioned range.

You may view your ‘set’ tem- perature at any time by briefly depressing either the ‘Set Upper’ or ‘Set Lower’ button. The set temperature will flash in the dis- play area for 5 seconds before the display resumes showing the current cabinet temperature.

DWC166BLSRH specifications

The Danby DWC166BLSRH is a sleek and stylish wine cooler designed for wine enthusiasts who want to preserve their wine collection in the best possible way. This model combines modern technology with an aesthetic appeal, making it a perfect addition to any home or bar.

One of the standout features of the Danby DWC166BLSRH is its capacity. It can hold up to 16 standard wine bottles, allowing users to store a modest yet diverse collection. The interior is thoughtfully designed, featuring adjustable wooden shelves that provide stability and elegance while accommodating various bottle sizes, including those with larger diameters.

Temperature control is crucial for wine preservation, and this wine cooler excels in that department. It features an LED digital display that allows users to set and monitor the internal temperature ranging from 39°F to 64°F, which is ideal for both red and white wines. The precise temperature control ensures that wines are stored at optimal conditions, enhancing their flavor profile and longevity.

DWC166BLSRH also boasts a dual-zone system, allowing for separate temperatures for red and white wines, catering to the preferences of different wine types. This feature is particularly beneficial for collectors who wish to enjoy their wines at the right temperatures.

In terms of design, the Danby DWC166BLSRH stands out with its black stainless steel finish, giving it a contemporary look that complements various interior styles. The double-paned glass door not only enhances visibility but also provides UV protection, preventing harmful light from compromising the quality of the wine.

Another significant feature is the quiet operation of the unit, thanks to its thermoelectric cooling system. This technology reduces vibrations, which is essential for maintaining the integrity of the wine, as vibrations can disturb sediment and affect flavor.
