Procedure

1Disconnect the power and data cable from the connector on the optical drive.

2Remove the screws that secure the optical drive to the chassis.

3Slide the optical drive and remove it off the chassis.

4Remove the screws that secure the optical-drive bracket to the optical drive.

5Remove the optical-drive bracket from the optical drive.
