Replacing the Hard Drive

CAUTION: Hard drives are fragile. Exercise care when handling the hard drive.

Procedure

1Adhere the Mylar sheet on the hard drive.

2Align the screw holes on the hard-drive bracket with the screw holes on the hard drive.

3Replace the screws that secure the hard-drive bracket to the hard drive.

4Slide the hard-drive assembly under the tabs on the computer base and place the hard-drive assembly in the computer base.

5Replace the screw that secures the hard-drive assembly to the computer base.

Post-requisites

1Replace the base cover.

2Replace the battery.
