Removing the Power-Adapter Port

Prerequisites

1Remove the battery.

2Remove the base cover.

3Remove the memory module(s).

4Remove the wireless card.

5Remove the hard drive.

6Remove the keyboard.

7Remove the palm rest.

Procedure

1Disconnect the power-adapter-port cable from the system board.

2Note the power-adapter-port cable routing and remove it from the routing guides on the computer base.
