Replacing the Display Panel

Procedure

1Connect the display cable to the display-panel connector.

2Adhere the tape that secures the display cable.

3Gently place the display panel on the display back-cover and align the screw holes on the display panel with the screw holes on the display back-cover.

4Replace the screws that secure the display panel to the display back- cover.

Post-requisites

1Replace the display hinges.

2Replace the display bezel.

3Replace the display assembly.

4Replace the system board.

5Replace the palm rest.

6Replace the hard drive.

7Replace the wireless card.

8Replace the memory module(s).

9Replace the base cover.

10Replace the keyboard.

11Replace the optical drive.

12Replace the battery.
