Removing the I/O Board

Prerequisites

1Remove the battery.

2Remove the base cover.

3Remove the memory module(s).

4Remove the wireless card.

5Remove the hard drive.

6Remove the keyboard.

7Remove the palm rest.

Procedure

1Lift the I/O board from the computer base and turn it over.

2Lift the latch and, using the pull-tab, disconnect the I/O-board cable from the I/O board.
