Toreplace the bezel, fit the two retaining hookson the bezel into their corresponding
slotsat the bottom of the chassis. Thenr otatethe top of the bezel toward the chassis
untilthe top tabs snap into their corresponding slots on the bezel.
Removing and Replacing Front-Panel Inserts
Empty 5.25-inchdrive bays contain a front-panel insertto protect the inside of the
computerfrom dust particles and also to ensure proper airflow within thecomputer.
Beforeyou install a drive in an empty drive bay,you must first remove the front-panel
insert(see Figure 7-8).

Toremove the insert coveringa drive bay,

follow these steps :
1. Turn offthe system, including any attachedperipherals, and disconnectall the AC
powercables from their power sources.
2. Remove the computer cover as instructedin Removing the Computer Cover,
earlierin this chapter.
3. Remove the front bezel using the instructionsin Removing and Replacing the
FrontBezel,earlier in this chapter.
4. With your thumbs, press in on eachend of the insert until the insert snaps freeof
thebezel.
