•När du kopplar loss en kabel, dra alltid i kontakten eller i dess dragavspänningsögla, inte i själva kabeln. Vissa kablar har kontakter med låsflikar; när du kopplar loss denna kabeltyp, tryck in låsflikarna innan kabeln kopplas loss. När du drar isär kontaktdon, håll dem korrekt riktade för att undvika att kontaktstiften böjs. Innan du kopplar in en kabel, se också till att båda kontakterna är korrekt orienterade och inriktade.
