Replacing the System Board

CAUTION: To help prevent damage to the system board, remove the main battery (see Removing the Battery) before working inside the computer.
CAUTION: Handle components by their edges, and avoid touching pins and contacts.
Removing the System Board

7.Remove the palm rest assembly (see Removing the Palm Rest Assembly).
8.Remove the Bluetooth® card (see Removing the Bluetooth Module).
9.Remove the display assembly (see Removing the Display Assembly).
10.Remove the processor heat sink fan (see Removing the Processor Heat Sink Fan).
11.Remove the middle cover (see Removing the Middle Cover).
12.Remove the VGA connector board (see Removing the VGA Connector Board).
13.Disconnect the speaker cable from the connector on the system board.
