3Abra el sistema. Consulte “Apertura del sistema”.

PRECAUCIÓN: Para evitar daños en las unidades y el plano posterior, debe extraer las unidades de disco duro del sistema antes de extraer el plano posterior.

PRECAUCIÓN: Anote el número de cada unidad de disco duro y etiquételas temporalmente antes de extraerlas de forma que pueda volver a colocarlas en las mismas ubicaciones.

4Extraiga todas las unidades de disco duro. Consulte “Extracción de una unidad de disco duro de intercambio activo”.

NOTA: Puede que sea más fácil extraer el plano posterior SAS si primero extrae el ensamblaje del ventilador. Consulte “Desmontaje de un ventilador de refrigeración”.

5Desconecte el cable de alimentación del extremo del plano posterior SAS.

6Desconecte los cables de datos SAS del plano posterior.

7Extraiga el plano posterior SAS del sistema:

a Mientras tira de los dos seguros azules hacia la parte frontal del sistema, deslice el plano posterior hacia arriba. Vea la ilustración 3-23.

b Cuando el plano posterior llegue a su tope, tire de él hacia la parte posterior del sistema para desencajarlo de los ganchos de retención.

c Levante la placa y extráigala del sistema procurando no dañar los componentes de la parte frontal de la placa.

d Coloque el plano posterior SAS boca abajo en una superficie de trabajo.
