1Desempaquete la nueva placa base y extraiga la hoja de etiquetas que está insertada en el zócalo de módulo de memoria.

2Quite las etiquetas de la hoja y péguelas en el panel de información del sistema, en la parte frontal de éste. Vea la ilustración 1-1.

3Transfiera los procesadores y los disipadores de calor a la nueva placa base. Consulte “Extracción de un procesador” y “Instalación de un procesador”.

4Extraiga los módulos de memoria y transfiéralos a las mismas ubicaciones de la nueva placa. Consulte “Extracción de módulos de memoria”

y “Instalación de módulos de memoria”.

5Instale la nueva placa base:

a Sujete la placa base por los bordes de la bandeja de la placa base y baje el lado derecho de la placa base hacia el chasis.
