•Pointing Device

–The Latitude X300’s touchpad is centered below the keyboard spacebar to help provide ease-of- use for both the left-and right-handed users.

–The touchpad buttons correspond to the left and right buttons on a standard mouse but users can enjoy “button-less” use by simply double-clicking on the touchpad itself to initiate programs. “Click and drag” is also supported without the use of buttons.

–Dell provides software for the touchpad, allowing users to set the sensitivity, motion, and drag and drop features for their own performance.

•Expansion Slots

–PC Card Expansion

•The Latitude X300 offers a single PC Card slot providing industry standard connectivity for portable communications, system expansion and increased storage. The slot will accommodate a Type I or Type II PC Card and is hot-swappable.
