Troubleshooting

PROBLEM		CAUSES	REMEDY
The air-conditioner	•	the power is off
does not work	•	the appliance is not plugged in	• Plug it in

(Mod. FX160ECO). The air-conditioner works only for a short time

• The exhaust hose is twisted		• Position exhaust hose correctly
•	The exhaust hose is blocked	•	Check for obstacles blocking
			the exhaust system

The air-conditioner works but does not cool the room.

• a window is open	•	close the window

• the thermostat is set too high	• set the thermostat to a lower
		temperature

• the capacity of the air-conditioner is not
