Be sure to press the proper remote control mode selector button to set the remote control unit to the AV mode.

Tune in the broadcast station that is to be preset and press

the Memory button.

• A “P - -” indication flashes for 10 seconds.

While the “P - -” indication is flashing, use the shift button and

the channel (CH) buttons (–, +) to display the preset number

“P03”.

Each press of the shift button adds 10 to the current preset number in the range of P00 to P40.

• The “P03” display will light and presetting will be

completed.

Up to 40 AM or FM stations can be preset using this procedure.

In addition to the reception frequency, the reception mode (monaural or auto) is also preset, so check the display when presetting stations.

If a station is preset at a number where a station is already preset, the previous station is replaced with the new station.

The preset memory is not cleared when the power cord is unplugged.

Example: Listening to the station preset at number P03 (This operation is only possible from the remote control unit.)
