Jumper JP2
Display Type Select
Jumper JP2 sets the display adapter to color or mono. The
default setting is On which is on the color mode. This jumper
must match the type of display adapter installed. If you
change your video adapter, make sure this jumper is changed
accordingly.
Jumper JP3
PS/2 Mouse
The G586SP/G586SP AIO package includes a card-edge
bracket with serial and mouse port. If you set JP3 to On,
Enabled, make sure you connect the PS/2 mouse port to
Connector J3. The default is set to On, enabled. If you want
to disable this function, set JP3 to Off.
Jumper JP5 (G586SP AIO only)
Onboard VGA Interrupt
Set JP5 to On, VGA interrupt enabled, only when using the
VGA feature connector. By enabling JP5, you will lose
INTA# of PCI Slot 1. The default is set to Off, disabled.
Jumper JP6
PCI Bus Clock
The default of jumper JP6 is Off, CPU Bus Clock/2. If JP6 is
set to Off, the CPU’s external speed will be divided into 2. You
can set JP6 to On, 32MHz, if you are using a 75MHz CPU.
Jumper JP9
Internal/External Battery Selection
The system board comes with an internal lithium battery. The
default setting is set to Off for battery conservation during
shipment of the board. If you wish to use the internal lithium
battery, set JP9 to On. Leave JP9 in its default setting, Off, if
you wish to use an external lithium battery (3.6V).
