The Virus Warning option may be set to “Enabledor

“Disabled. When enabled, the BIOS issues a warning when

any program or virus sends a Disk Format command or

attempts to write to the boot sector of the hard disk drive. If

you are installing or running certain operating systems such

as Windows 95, please disable the Virus Warning or the

operating system may not install nor work.

If you choose Systemin the Security Option, you will be

prompted for a password every time you cold boot your

system or access setup. If you choose “Setup, you will be

prompted for a password only when trying to access setup.

Use the arrow keys to move the highlight bar to the option

you wish to change or modify. Use the <Page Up>, <Page

Down>, <+> or <-> keys to make the corresponding changes.

Press <Esc> after making the changes to return to the main

menu.

Chipset Features Setup

The system board uses the SiS chipset. The Chipset Features

Setup allows you to modify some functions to optimize

system performance. It also allows you to enable, disable or

select the port address of the built-in serial ports, parallel

port, floppy disk controller and hard disk controller. If you

press <Enter>, a screen similar to the one below will appear.
