Insert your DIRECT V Access Card
Locate the access card that came packed with your DIRECT V Receiver materials and insert t he card,
facing upward, fully into the slot.
DIRECTV Receiver Rear Panel
1) SATELLITE IN – Use to connect the DIRECTV Receiver to the satellite dish antenna.
2) OUT TO TV – Connects the DIR ECTV Receiver to your TV or VCR using R F coaxial cable.
This jack provides the most basic connection, carrying good sound and video quality.
3) OFF-AIR IN – Connect a standard TV a ntenna or cable feed to the DIRECTV Receiver u sing
this jack. You can then switch between the DIR ECTV Receiver’s signal and the T V/c able feed.
4) 3/4 CHANNEL SWITCH – Allow s u sers to choose the channel that is not used in
your area (3 or 4) when the receiver is connected to TV usi ng RF coaxial cable from t he
DIRECTV Receiver’s OUT TO TV.
