Operation Section 5

1.In the Edit menu, select the HIDE option.

2.Read the available help text for information.

3.Go to the channel you want to hide.

4.On the RCU, press the OK key.

Note a red bullet appears behind the selection.

5.If you want to undo the selection, press the OK key again.

6.Either:

a.press the WHITE key to confirm the hide and end the session, or

b.select the next channel you want to hide.

7.Make the hide function active

a.On the RCU, press the MENU key;

b.Select the Parental Lock menu

c.Enter the correct PIN-code as requested;

8.Set the Master Hide to On.

9.On the RCU:

a.press the MENU key;

b.press the EXIT key.

10.You can temporarily unhide all channels:

a.On the RCU, press the MENU key;

b.Select the Parental Lock menu

c.Enter the correct PIN-code as requested;

d.Set the Master Hide to Off.

11.You can restore all the hides on the channels:

a.In the parental lock menu, set the Master Hide to On.

2.USE THE FAVORITE LISTS

Navigation and use of the favorite lists are the same as for the all channels and current satellite list as described before. The main difference is that you can setup and organize the favorite lists as required. EchoStar has already pre-named the favorite lists to help you getting started. It is however possible to change the name of the favorite list to something that is meaningful to you.

For adding channels quickly, you can use the group and sort option first to limit the amount of channels where you want to choose from. As an example, now it is possible to add all sport related channels in one step to the Sports TV favorite list.

Note that for each mode, a separate number of favorite lists is available.
