Connecting an iPod/iPhone Device

Connecting an iPod or iPhone Device (sold separately)

To play music from an iPod/iPhone device using the direct USB interface, connect the USB cable (included with your iPod/iPhone device) to the XDMA6540's USB port. Once connected, playback will begin automatically.

Note: If a song is playing on the iPod or iPhone device before it is connected, it will continue to play after being connected.

Controlling a Device: Full Control

When the control of iPod/iPhone feature is set to "FULL" in the setup menu, use the following functions to control the device:

Song Select

Fast Forward and Reverse

Pause

Repeat

Random

Intro

Press llto skip to the beginning of the next song. Press nnto return to the beginning of the current song. Pressing nnagain skips to the beginning of the previous song.

Press and hold llor nnto fast forward or reverse a song.

Press l/ II to temporarily stop playback.

Press l/ II again to resume playback.

Press RPT to enter the Repeat menu, then turn the volume knob to select one of the following options:

Off - Repeats all tracks.

Current Song - Repeats selected track.

Press RDM to enter the Random menu, then turn the volume knob to select one of the following options:

Off - Cancels the RDM function.

All Songs - Plays all tracks in random order.

Current Album - Plays all tracks in the selected album in random order.

Press INT to enter the Intro menu, then turn the volume knob to select one of the following options:

Off - Cancels the INT function.

On - Plays first 10 seconds of each track.
