32 Chapter 4 SelfCalibration
Chapter 4 SelfCalibrationThis product is equipped with an built-in calibrat ion sensor. This function allows you to set the calibration
targets or schedule in advance, and automatically execute reg ular calibration. Calibration can be executed
independently by the monitor.
Attention
• To execute SelfCalibrat ion, it is necessary to set the calib ration targets etc.
• For more informat ion, refer to “4-3. Setting Calibration Detail s [Setting]” (page 33).
NOTE
• Use SelfCalibr ation as support for monitor calibr ation with ColorNavigator.
• When mat ching the measurement result s of the built-in sensor with the measu rement results from a measur ement
device, use the Correlation Utility i ncluded with ColorNavigator. Refer to the ColorNavigator User's Manual on
the CD-ROM.
• SelfCalib ration can also be executed when there a re no computer signals being input.

calibration results.
NOTE
• If <Ambient Light> i s selected, the current envi ronmental light is also displayed.
• Numerical v alues that do not reach the target values a re displayed in yellow.
• If the envi ronment in which the product is used is sig nicantly different to the prev ious environment, the ambient
light measurement results may dif fer greatly between the previous cal ibrations and current cal ibrations.
