Chapter 2 Adjusting Screen
● To adjust the gamma value [Gamma]
The gamma value can be adjusted. The lumi nance of the monitor varies depending on the input signal ,
however, the variation rate is not proportional to the input signal. To keep the balance between the i nput
signal and the luminance of the monitor is called as “Ga mma correction”.
Adjustable range: 1.6-2.7 (0.1 unit)
Procedure
1. Choose <Color> from the Adjust ment menu, and press .
2. Choose <Gam ma> from the <Color> menu, and press .
3. Adjust the gamma value w ith or .
4. Press to exit the adjustment.
NOTE
• The default set ting for each Adobe®RGB/sRGB/EBU/REC709/SMPTE-C/DCI mo de is set to “Standard”, which is
the gamma in conformity wit h each standard.
● To adjust the hue [Hue]
This function allows you to adjust the hue.
Adjustable range: -100 to 100
Procedure
1. Choose <Color> from the Adjust ment menu, and press .
2. Choose <Advanced Sett ings> from the <Color> menu, and press .
3. Choose <Hue>, and press .
4. Adjust the hue with or .
5. Press to exit the adjustment.
Attention
• This f unction does not enable to display every color g radation.
● To adjust the color saturation [Saturation]
This function allows you to adjust the saturat ion of the color on the monitor.
Adjustable range: -100 to 100
Procedure
1. Choose <Color> from the Adjust ment menu, and press .
2. Choose <Advanced Sett ings> from the <Color> menu, and press .
3. Choose <Satu ration>, and press .
4. Adjust the satur ation of the color with or .
5. Press to exit the adjustment.
Attention
• This f unction does not enable to display every color g radation.
NOTE
• Setti ng the minimum (-100) turns the image to a mono chrome screen.
