4.In the Command Line box, type A:INSTALL or B:INSTALL as appropriate. Choose OK.

5.After a few moments, you are asked if you want to edit the backup filename of WIN.INI. Choose OK.

6.Select AL-1600 EpsonScript as the printer name you want to install.

7.Follow the onscreen instructions that tell you to change diskettes.

8.Once all the files and screen fonts have been copied, a message appears telling you to reboot Windows. Choose OK. This closes your current Windows session and opens a new one.

9.Remove the EpsonScript diskette.

Selecting the default printer

1.In the Windows Main group, double-click the Control Panel icon. Then double-click the Printers icon.

2.In the Printers dialog box, select the EPSON AL-1600 EpsonScript option.

3. Choose the Set As Default Printer button.

4.Choose Close. Then close the Control Panel.
