HP Emulation

If you set the paper size with a print command that differs from the size selected in SelecType, the message PS CHANGE appears. Press the CONTINUE/RESET button to clear the error; the printer is set off

line.

After clearing the error, you have two options:

1.Change the paper in the cassette; then enter SelecType and change the paper size to match. Press the ON LINE button after exiting SelecType to continue printing.

2.Alternatively, press the ON LINE button to continue printing on the current paper. (The message PAPER SIZE ERROR appears in the display.)

For certain nonstandard sizes of paper, you may need to use the manual feed option described in Chapter 4.

Character clipping

If a character is partially outside the printable area, the HP LaserJet does not print any portion of the character. The ActionLaser prints that portion of the character within the printable area, making it easier to tell when you have exceeded your margins.
