HP Emulation

HP printer commands

This section lists the printer commands supported in HP emulation. These commands emulate the HP LaserJet series II printer.

A printer command, also called an escape sequence, is a string of characters that is sent to the printer. The printer interprets the character string as a command to select a specific feature.

Most software packages have printer commands already embedded in them, so you may never need to use the information in this section.

An escape sequence is made up of an escape control code followed by one or more characters in succession.

For more information on printer commands, see the Hewlett-Packard LaserJet series II Technical Reference Manual.
