USB hub

You can also use a USB hub, allowing you to increase the number

of USB ports and therefore connect several peripherals.

Connecting the scanner

To connect the scanner to your computer or USB hub:

1. Connect one end of the cable (Type B) to the USB port on the

back of the scanner.

The entire image is distorted or blurred. c Edges of the document are not scanned. Colors are patchy or distored at the edges of the image. 4-14 The image is faint or out of focus. The image is too dark. Straight lines in the image come out jagged. The image does not look the same as the original. A line of dots is always missing from the scanned image. 4-16 A line of dots always appears in the scanned image. When using halftoning, textured patterns of dots appear inside particular areas of the image. Colors in the image look odd. Colors on your monitor are different from those in the original image. Printed colors are different from those in the original image. 4-18 The printed image is larger or smaller than the original. Scanned images cannot be printed or come out garbled when printed. The colors of negative film preview images look strange.
