Operation checklist
For proper PB 1400 Ethernet Card operation, verify the following:
☐For Classic Ethernet, EtherTalk Alternative is selected in the Network control panel. For Open Transport, Alternate Ethernet is selected in the AppleTalk control panel.
☐AppleTalk is active in the Chooser.
☐The PB 1400 Ethernet Card is securely seated in the expansion slot.
☐The Ethernet network connection is secure, and the Ethernet network follows standard guidelines. See “Network Guidelines“ later in this chapter for network guidelines.
☐The green link LED is lit.
