Para quitar la puerta y las bisagras

Algunos tipos de instalación requieren quitar la puerta para poner el refrigerador en su posición final.

Herramientas necesarias:

Desarmador Phillips

Llave de cabeza hexagonal de 3⁄8 pulg. (9.5 mm)

¡ADVERTENCIA!

Peligro de Descarga Eléctrica

Corte la corriente del refrigerador antes de quitar las puertas. Conecte la corriente únicamente después de haber vuelto a poner las puertas.

El alambre de tierra verde deberá ir sujeto a la bisagra superior mientras realiza la operación para quitar la puerta y volver a ponerla.

El no hacerlo puede provocar la muerte, descarga eléctrica, incendio o causar daños personales.

¡Precaución!

Para evitar daños en propiedad, observe lo siguiente:

Proteja el piso de vinil o de otro tipo con cartón, tapetes u otro material protector, antes de mover el refrigerador.

Pegue con cinta adhesiva los paneles decorativos (modelos selectos) firmemente en su lugar antes de quitar las manijas de la puerta.

No ajuste el refrigerador a una altura menor de 68½ pulg. (1740 mm) (menos bisagra y tapa). El hacerlo puede dañar los componentes de la parte de abajo.

1Desenchufe el cordón del tomacorriente.

2Quite la parrilla de puntapiés (vea página 56).

Abra ambas puertas a 180°, o lo más que se pueda.

Nota: para los refrigeradores en operación, cierre el agua antes de quitar la línea de agua de la puerta.

Para desconectar la línea de agua:

Paso 2

Presione el collarín blanco ( a ) y manténgalo presionado.

 

Jale el tubo del lado de la puerta del conector ( b ).

 

Para volver a conectar la línea de agua:

 

Presione firmemente el tubo 5⁄16 pulg. (8 mm) dentro del

 

conector. Utilice las líneas en el tubo como guía para

insertar totalmente.

 

Si el tubo está dañado, corte 5⁄16 pulg. (8 mm) antes de reconectar.

Si hay fugas, corte y vuelva a reconectar la línea.
