De otro modo, puede colocarse la placa de cocción centrando, siempre en relación con la base, la zona de cocción (véase fig. 4).

Estos aparatos son del tipo “Y” respecto al grado de protección contra los peligros de incendio, por consiguiente pueden empotrarse hasta cerca de paredes de madera más altas que el plano en el cual se empotran, con tal que haya siempre una distancia mínima desde el borde del aparato por lo menos de: 50 mm. para la pared lateral, 30 mm. para la pared trasera, y que los eventuales muebles colgantes instalados encima del aparato mismo se encuentren a una distancia de 700 mm. por lo menos desde la placa de cocción.

Conexión con el conducto del gas

La conexión con el conducto del gas puede realizarse de dos formas

A)Conectar la placa de cocción con el conducto del gas empleando un tubo rígido de cobre con un diámetro de 12 mm., según se indica en la fig. 5. Para lograr un sellado eficaz, interponer el empaque en elastómero que se suministra como accesorio en dotación.

B)Conectar la placa de cocción por medio de un tubo fle- xible en acero de pared continua.
