Warning Messages and Displays

The following warnings appear in the display.

Warning

Description

B(red)

Low battery. Charge the battery (P13) or insert a fully-charged spare battery (P14).

A(blinks red)

Battery exhausted. Charge the battery (P13) or insert a fully-charged spare battery (P14).

kSlow shutter speed. Pictures may be blurred; use the fl ash or a tripod.

sThe camera can not focus. Try one of the following solutions:

Aperture or shutter speed

Turn the camera off, remove the lens, and clean the mounting surfaces, then replace the lens and turn the camera

on. If the problem persists, contact a FUJIFILM dealer.

 

BUSY

The memory card is incorrectly formatted. Use the camera to format the card (P94).

 

• The memory card is not formatted or the memory card has been formatted in a computer or other device: Format the

 

memory card using the KFORMAT option in the camera setup menu (P94).

CARD NOT INITIALIZED

• The memory card contacts require cleaning: Clean the contacts with a soft, dry cloth. If the message is repeated,

 

format the card (P94). If the message persists, replace the card.

•Camera malfunction: Contact a FUJIFILM dealer.

PROTECTED CARD The memory card is locked. Unlock the card.
