Q The amount of compensation available varies with the shooting mode.
The exposure value is determined by sensitivity and by aperture and shutter speed, which control the amount of light to which the sensor is exposed. Doubling either the sensitivity or the amount of light increases EV by one, while halving it reduces EV by one.
Choosing an Exposure Compensation Value•Backlit subjects: Choose valuesfrom +2/3 EV to +12/3 EV.
• Highly reflective subjects or very bright scenes (e.g., snowfi elds): +1 EV
