Focus Mode

■MF Assist

The cMF ASSIST option in the setup menu can be used to check focus when pictures are framed in the LCD monitor or electronic viewfinder in manual focus mode.

RThe cMF ASSIST menu can be displayed by pressing and holding the FOCUS ASSIST button.

The following options are available:

•FOCUS PEAK HIGHLIGHT: Highlights high-contrast outlines. Rotate the focus ring until the subject is highlighted.

• DIGITAL SPLIT IMAGE: Displays a split, black-and-white image in the center of the frame. Frame the subject in the split-image area and rotate the focus ring until the three parts of the split image are correctly aligned.

The Dual Display

In manual focus mode, you can use the DISP/BACK button to select a dual display, with a main Entire frame
