Using the Q Button
3Highlight pFLASH MODE in the quick menu (P34) and rotate the rear command dial
to select from the options below. Press the Q button to proceed.

QDepending on the distance to the subject, some lenses may cast shadows in photos taken with the flash.
RTurn off or lower the flash where flash photography is prohibited or to capture natural lighting under dim light.
RIf pis displayed when the shutter button is pressed halfway, the flash will fire when the photo is taken.
RExcept in commander mode, the flash may fire several times with each shot. Do not move the camera until shooting is complete.
Flash Sync SpeedThe flash will synchronize with the shutter at shutter speeds of 1/180 s or slower.
