This section describes how to take pictures in R(EAUTO) mode.1Select Emode.

Turn the camera on and rotate the mode dial to EXR. The Rdisplay will appear in the LCD monitor.

In Rmode, the camera continuously adjusts focus and searches for faces, increasing the drain on the battery. ois displayed in the LCD monitor.

R The camera analyses the scene and selects the preferred E mode when the shutter button is pressed halfway (P32).

R To raise the flash when lighting is poor, slide the flash pop-up switch (P51).
