Shooting Mode

P PROGRAM AE

The camera sets exposure automatically.

QIf the subject is outside the metering range of the camera, the shutter speed and aperture displays will show “---”. Press the shutter button halfway to measure expo- sure again.

Program Shift

Rotate the main/sub-command dial to choose the desired combination of shutter speed and aperture. The default values can be restored by raising the flash or turning the camera off. To use program shift, turn the flash off. Furthermore, an option other than AUTO must be selected for UDYNAMIC RANGE and NISO.
