How to use the SET UP menu (p.138)

FUNCTION LOCK

To avoid mis-use, lock the functions of the command dial, [SHOOTING MENU] and [SET UP] menu.

[LOCK SETTING]

Select [ALL FUNCTION], [SELECTED FUNCTION], or [BASIC FUNCTION] for the [LOCK SETTING].

UNLOCK

Releases the lock for functions.

 

 

ALL FUNCTION

Locks the fucntions which can be

 

locked in [BASIC FUNCTION] and the

 

functions which can be specified in

 

[SELECTED FUNCTION].

 

 

SELECTED

Locks the specified functions. To

FUNCTION

specify the functions, use [FUNCTION

 

SELECTION]. The functions locked by

 

the [BASIC FUNCTION] will also be

 

locked when the [SELECTED

 

FUNCTION] is set.

 

 

BASIC

Locks all functions except the

FUNCTION

functions which can be specified by

 

the [SELECTED FUNCTION].

 

 

[FUNCTION SELECTION]

Specifies functions to be locked when [SELECTED FUNCTION] is selected for [LOCK SETTING].

[CHANGE PASSWORD]

Change password when [LOCK SETTING] activates.

These functions can be specified by the [SELECTED FUNCTION]

• NOISE REDUCTION

The following functions can be used even when [FUNCTION LOCK] is set.

-Release (AF-ON button, AE-L/AF-L button)

Specify the functions using [FUNCTION SELECTION] before setting the [SELECTED FUNCTION] under [LOCK SETTING] (p.170).
