PHOTOGRAPHY MODE TAKING PICTURES (AUTO MODE)
Focus ring

The camera focuses on the subject using Manual focus mode.

Zoom ring

Turn the zoom ring to take pictures with zoom function.

Flash pop-up button

To use the flash, press the flash pop-up button to release the flash.

INFO (information check) button

Press this button to view image information.

Photography mode: Displays the current settings (white balance, sharpness, etc.) and histogram.

Playback mode: Displays the information for the image currently displayed.

One-touch AF button

Focus the image once. This can only be used for manual focusing.

Focus mode selector switch

Changes among C-AF (Continuous AF), S-AF (Single AF) and MF (Manual focus).

Macro button

 

 

Use this for close-up shots. Pressing this button changes the modes as follows:

3 Diopter adjustment dial

EVF

Press the Flash pop-up button to pop up the flash.

! When the flash pops up, the image may disappear and go dark briefly due to flash charging. The indicator lamp blinks orange during charging.

! If the flash is used in dusty conditions or when it is snowing, white dots may appear in the image due to flash reflecting off the dust particles or snowflakes. Use Suppressed flash mode to fix the problem.

Press the “EVF/LCD” button to alternate the display between the viewfinder (EVF) and the LCD monitor.

When the AF frame in the viewfinder (EVF) is difficult to see, adjust the viewfinder using the Diopter adjustment dial.
