Did you unlock the shipping lock of the flatbed?

Are the document loaded correctly on the ADF paper chute?

Turn OFF the scanner and unlock the shipping lock. (*1)

Is the ADF closed completely?

YES

Close the ADF completely.

Is the interface cable connected correctly?

YES

Connect interface cable correctly. (*2)

Is the connector of interface cable broken?		Use a new interface cable and correctly
