Set Up Alert Notifications
The ATTO ConfigTool can notify you when events occur on the RAID system. Open the ConfigTool and select ‘localhost’ in the left bar. The screen below will appear.
The ConfigTool has four types of Alerts: Audbile Alert, Visual Alert, System Log and By Email. You can set the Event threshold for each Alert type and for different email addresses. To enable email notification, enter your server information and up to three recipient addresses.
Events are categorized in two ways. ‘Critical’ indicates a serious
problem has occurred and the System Administrator should perform cor- rective action. ‘Warning’ indicates events that are less serious but still war- rant notification.
