2.2Product Description - Magnum 6K32TRC Managed Switch

friendly, Magnum 6K32TRC Managed Switch is specially designed with a convection cooled thermal design techniques to minimize heat generation to provide an efficient, highly reliable and secured Ethernet solution for heavy duty Industry, Power sub- stations and temp-uncontrolled outdoor applications. Specially designed and enclosed in a “Reverse” aluminum case, the 6K32TRC proudly offered with modularity, port density (up to 32 ports max.) and security in a 1U rack-mount package.

Being a sibling of the successful 6K managed switch family, the Magnum 6K32TRC supports modularity in the last two slots to configure with any of the various

6KP modules offered. The Magnum 6K32TRC provides effective and economical Ethernet solutions with 16 10/100 RJ-45 ports fixed and two modular configuration slots. The two modular configurable slots of the Magnum 6K32T offer the flexibility to configure up to sixteen 100Mb, (RJ-45 and 16 fiber ports) or a maximum of four Gigabit(1000Mb) options to handle high bandwidth application efficiently. The two modular slots are boosted with 10Mb/10/100Mb/ 100Mb/1000Mb and can be configure with any of modules offered with copper or Fiber media or combo. The various PoE modules option is an additional advantage for Magnum 6K32TRC users to provide a secure and economical solution to critical remote applications.

The preloaded robust and intuitive MNS-6K Managed Network firmware with multiple secured managed features is able to handle industry-standard IEEE 802.1p QOS prioritization and non-blocking wire speed on all ports. It provides high performance switching services for both “smooth” streaming and “bursty” data traffic. For redundant
