Using the remote control in Setup menus

To move through the player’s Setup menus, press the following buttons on your

remote control:

Setting up languages

The Language menu lets you set your language preferences for DVD subtitles,

DVD audio soundtracks, and DVD menus.

Remote Button Function

STOP Press before pressing SETUP.

SETUP Press to open and close the Welcome to Setup screen.

(up and

down arrows) Press to highlight options within menus.

(left and

right arrows) Press to change option settings within menus.

ENTER Press to activate the current selection.

RETURN Press to return to the Welcome to Setup screen.

Tips & Tricks Unless otherwise specified, all buttons mentioned in the

following procedures are buttons on the remote control.

No songs are found when I try to import the files into Media Server. A song starts playing, then it stops for no reason. Media Server cannot find music files that I know are there. DVD troubleshooting The player does not have power. No picture appears on my TV. 82 The picture on my TV has a lot of static, or noise The DVD picture does not fill the screen on my standard television. No sound plays while playing media through the player. There is no surround effect during playback of Dolby Digital soundtrack. 83 I keep hearing a loud hum or noise. The remote control does not work. The DVD does not play. The DVD does not start playing from the beginning.
