Setting up the network

2On the player’s remote control, press STOP, then press SETUP. The Welcom e

to Setup screen opens.

3Use your remote control’s arrow buttons to highlight Network, then press

ENTER.

4Highlight Network, then press ENTER to search for an available network.

A list of available networks opens. Names of networks using wireless access

points end with “ACC PT.”

5Highlight one of the detected networks, then press ENTER. The message

“Joining new network please wait” appears, then the message “Successfully

joined [network name]” appears.

6Press ENTER to continue. The main Network menu opens.

The IPaddress appears in the lower-right corner of the screen. To change

the way the IP address is selected, see “Setting the IP address” on page 28 .

To change the player name (as it appears to other players), see “Changing

the player name” on page 29.

No songs are found when I try to import the files into Media Server. A song starts playing, then it stops for no reason. Media Server cannot find music files that I know are there. DVD troubleshooting The player does not have power. No picture appears on my TV. 82 The picture on my TV has a lot of static, or noise The DVD picture does not fill the screen on my standard television. No sound plays while playing media through the player. There is no surround effect during playback of Dolby Digital soundtrack. 83 I keep hearing a loud hum or noise. The remote control does not work. The DVD does not play. The DVD does not start playing from the beginning.
