Importing a playlist

To import a playlist:

1Open Media Server, then click the Options tab.

2In the File types to scan option area, click the PLS playlist checkbox

(Windows Media Player playlists) or the M3U playlist checkbox

(MusicMatch Jukebox playlists).

3Click the Media Import tab.

4Click Plugin Import. The Plugins dialog box opens.

5Click the plugin you want to use (MusicMatch Jukebox Scanner or Windows

Media Player Scanner), then click Scan. Playlists for the selected plugin are

imported into Media Server and appear in the Media Files tab’s Playlists list.

Working with slideshows

You can create slideshows containing images and background music. You can

even import and play slideshows created in other media player programs.

Creating a new slideshow

When you create a new slideshow in Media Server, each image is displayed for

five seconds, and the image list starts over again if the music has not completed

by the time the last picture is finished displaying.

No songs are found when I try to import the files into Media Server. A song starts playing, then it stops for no reason. Media Server cannot find music files that I know are there. DVD troubleshooting The player does not have power. No picture appears on my TV. 82 The picture on my TV has a lot of static, or noise The DVD picture does not fill the screen on my standard television. No sound plays while playing media through the player. There is no surround effect during playback of Dolby Digital soundtrack. 83 I keep hearing a loud hum or noise. The remote control does not work. The DVD does not play. The DVD does not start playing from the beginning.
