INSTALLING THE PHONE
1.Choose an area near an electrical outlet and telephone wall jack (RJ11C). Your phone should be placed on a level surface, such as a table top or desk.

2.Plug the AC power supply into an electrical outlet and the DC connector into the back of the base.

3.Plug the handset charge cradle's AC power supply into an electrical outlet.
4.Install a handset battery in each handset. Connect the battery pack plug to the jack inside the battery compartment, and slide the compartment door over the battery until it snaps into place.
NOTE: It is important to maintain the polarity (black and red wires) to the jack inside the compartment as shown in the illustration.
