NOTE : The time of day is automatically updated when the first valid Caller ID record is received.

DEFAULT

As you become familiar with this system, you may prefer to use the system’s original settings. Follow the steps below to return to the factory default settings. This setting can be made with handset and base.

1. Use the touch-tone pad on your handset or base to select 1YES or 2NO,

or use the or button on your base or handset to select 1YES or 2NO. 2NO is the default.

NOTE: If you choose YES all settings in the programmable menu return to the factory default settings.

2.Press the program/mute button to save. You will hear a confirmation tone, and the display returns to standby (HANDSET 1 or HANDSET 2 shows in the display).

NOTE: Press the EXIT button to keep the previous setting and return to the standby mode.

HANDSET REGISTRATION

READ THIS NOTE: Your handsets are pre-registered and ready to use. Registered handsets display as HANDSET 1 and HANDSET 2. It is not recommended or necessary to re-register your handsets. Press the program/ mute button until DEFAULT SETTING 1YES 2NO shows in the display, and proceed to the DEFAULT section of this manual. If HANDSET NEEDS REGISTRATION shows in the display, follow the procedure below to register the handset.
