AUTO STANDBY

Placing the handset in the base cradle or handset charge cradle while the handset is off the hook (during a call) automatically hangs up the handset.

HANDSET RINGER VOLUME

1. Press the ringer button and the current ringer setting shows in the display.

2. Use the touch-tone pad on your handset to select 1 ON or 2 OFF, or use

the or button to scroll to 1 ON or 2 OFF.

3.Press the program/mute button to save. You will hear a confirmation tone, the new volume setting displays for two seconds, and the display returns to standby mode.

NOTE: If you turn the ringer OFF, the ringer off icon shows in the display.

BASE RINGER VOLUME

1. Press the ringer button and the current ringer setting shows in the display.

2. Use the touch-tone pad to enter 1HI, 2LOW, or 3OFF, or use the or button to scroll to 1HI, 2LOW, or 3OFF.
