INSTALLING THROUGH THE WALL
Read these instructions completely and carefully.

The air conditioner wall case may be installed with 1/4″ min. extension out from the inside wall
or with 1/4″ min. extension out from the outside wall.
The finished sides of the opening should be structural wall members.
Lintel – Use a lintel in brick veneer and brick and block types of wall to support the bricks
or blocks above the opening. Do not allow the wall case to be used in lieu of a lintel.
Flashing – Install flashing (drip rail) as shown to prevent water from dripping inside the wall and down the outside of the building.
